DCAT Insights Value Chain Publication

As the top member-supported, volunteer-led, global business development association for the Bio/Pharmaceutical manufacturing value chain, DCAT wanted to create a new communications platform that would engage and grow their membership, while building community. To realize this goal, DCAT employed IGM Creative Group (IGM) to reinvent their online publication as an always-on, always-fresh news, views, and community information engine.

IGM was tasked with developing an industry news site that not only provided high-level content for its readers but contained a variety of advertising options to support the non-profit’s efforts, along with a modern, clean look and feel for its users.

In partnership, the digital magazine’s redesign effort was led by DCAT’s Executive Director, Margaret Timony, and IGM’s President, Jay Stack. The launch was managed by IGM’s Director of Web Development, Eugene Marhasin, and Miriam O’Donnell, DCAT’s Director of Technical Operations.

“Their team of professionals was a pleasure to work with. I am proud of the outstanding job done by our creative and development teams, who produced some 6,000 pages of content and helped us successfully achieve our client’s goals, on-time and on budget,” said President of IGM Creative Group, Jay Stack.

The digital publication features an original, in-depth analysis of the business by industry veteran, Patricia Van Arnum, DCAT’s Editorial Director. Its content includes executive briefings of Top Industry News affecting drug development, manufacturing, and commercialization. There is a section on the latest moves and promotions of employees of the DCAT Member Company Community, as well as interviews with top executives in the Bio/Pharmaceutical manufacturing value chain. It also provides native advertising opportunities for the industry, in its substantive Sponsored Content section on new facilities and innovations of products and services.
